I like this alot, reminds me of some of my own digital painting, even though this is a photograph. I have to agree that cropping it down would work better, maybe even removing part of the left side as well, and leaving the top a solid black streak framing the photo, and highlighting the overall abstract feeling of this piece.

I like what I am seeing here, the shading is well done and the reflection is on the vase is done well. I would like to see more detail overall though, the photo itself is rather small.

I like this a lot the framing is near perfect, the shot itself is beautifully fantastical(hmm don't recall that being a word, but I digress...), I can think of two things that would really make this work stand out. The first is, where the points of the unclosed circle come together let the image fade in(erase at 50%, and gradually work back in, or use the feather on the select, and cut, then go back and do a second cut without the feather but off set so the feather only...

...gotta ditto the space issue in front of the horses, also it would look much better if taken from an angle where they appear to be coming towards the viewer, as opposed to the very linear feeling it currently has. Did you get any shots of the OKC Bombing Memorial when you were there?

Fantastically well rendered, plus I like redheads(woo-hoo)......Was wondering did this start as a pencil drawing or was it created digitally? Either way, It's a wonderful figure study, loving the shading on the ribs below the breast, and the subtle curls at the ends of the hair. -J

I keep coming back to this one again and again, starting to really like it, in fact the only real distraction I can see is the frame itself, which pulls my attention away from the painting instead on into it. -J

I like the layout and the concept, but there are several things that bother me. Firstly the whole thing looks rather flat and without any shading, also the fire under the sheeps heads should put off far more light and conversely more shadows. Where's the dancing flicker lights of a flame when you need them? The sheeps head itself has some filtering done to it that just removes itself entirely from any thought of realism. In all this a good work, but in all, I feel...

WOW!!!! Long time no see, been missing you around here. You said it, it's a tiny example, I've been studying your work for a long time now, and have a pretty good idea of what you put into your paintings. I have always been in awe. In fact I did a lion a few months back studying your techniques. I think it's still posted around here somewhere. Anyway, nice to see you around. -J

This a fantastic shot. I assume there is some dodging and burning involved, or at the very least some creative use of levels, either way, with, without, whatever, this is a breathtaking shot. I like that it's a fractal matematical type of thing.....-J

Fantastic abstract, well balanced on all planes, colors, shapes, and organization. A very strong angle, and the rule of thirds in three spots, perfect layout. So, don't go off leaving artsig, I just got back, and I'm liking this....

I've been looking over your works here. I like what I see, they all have potential, but I see a common theme in all of them with you overshading certain areas, especially on the cheekbones. For instance on this one you have the area of light indentation on the cheeks as being darker than the area beneath the chin itself which is incorrect. You need to be able to differentiate between depth and then place that in your compositions correctly. These are all well on their way,...

Oh boy I did it again, thought I was ok, but the last drink did it. I'm a little dizzy here, visions getting blurry, rooms spinning round like a top, and seeing double...A very nice piece, I love it!-J
