I like it, but I think the blacks could be darker, and the edges tightened up a bit, but as you said it's a work in progress......Also the material looks a bit "rough" for fine detail, I might have chosen something different myself.-J

I love this, life study for sure. Not a perfect "beautiful" woman, but a woman, curves and all, which is beautiful. You've got a good line drawing here, it's got the greys added, now all it lacks is shading(I assume you knew that), I'd go with the dodge/burn tools, start both on midtones at 50% and play around from there. It's a very intuitive tool, and easy/fun to work with.-J

I've always strayed away from working with watercolors, too much wetness, too many colors bleeding everywhere, no control(not for me at least).......You on other hand seem to run to it, and thrive in it even. I've been looking over your works, very nice stuff to say the the least.

Love this, I had a buddy do something similair once, it was a semi-truck reflected in a puddle, when rotated though it just became surreal. It took me a second to figure it out, I kept asking myself why filter the clouds to look like water, then I went t compare it to the water, that's when it stood out like a sore thumb.......Great!!!!

This longs for detail, and shading, the trees are pulled together nicely with the leaves in perspective giving them some depth, but everything needs to be tightened up, and brought together with some kind of detail.-J

I like this alot, not much I would change either. The concept is great, life brings forth life, and never ending circle....

I've alway called works like this "Standard Beautiful", every photographer has these shots, I've got two nearly identical myself. Same goes for sunsets, how many can you see without just getting sick of seeing sunsets? With that said this is a pretty good shot, I don't know about the overall symmetry, I would have preffered the head being the upper left 3rd area, which would add some dynamic to it. But, that's just my humble opinion. -J

Instead of just taking a single photo and mirroring it(everyones done it), why not try placing the camera on a tripod at the edge of the room, and then setting the timer, and taking a photo in every seat of the room, all of yourself, and then sumperimpose them back on top of one another, that way you would have a photo of yourself sitting there conversing with yourself, while your other self serves coffee to your two former selves............The possibilities are endless,...

I agree with most of what was said previously, but I do like the concept, not sure about any "meaning" to do with women being used as pawns. I do however like the tendency towards stark B&W, but aslo agree that that the elements should have been made to form better to one another. -J

Very nice piece, I love the detail on the jesters eyes as well as the harsh shadows fallinf from the running women. Misuse of power indeed.

Wow, it took a minute to realize this was a photo edit. I was thinking about picking up tile lating and making a mosiac for a second there. Beautiful waves, the use of texture and color make this.

Beautiful seascape, nice muted colors, and an overall feeling of peacefulness and solitude. I would like see a detail of the water though to get a real feeling for the technique. I haven't seen alot of acrylic of rag paper. Does it work like water color? br>-J
