I'm an artist, a photographer, a musician, a poet. I believe in self expression, and do it in whatever form presents itself. I prefer working digitally(I have been working in the medium since 1998), but can, and have worked in many mediums including oils, pastels, acrylics, pen/ink/pencil, spray paint, wood, stone, bone, collage, etc......
I have been lately basing my works around a personal idea of depth, pattern, and texture. I think when we see someone/something we only see the surface. I try to illustrate the energy behind what we see, at times turning negative space into positive, blurring the lines of form into something transcendant.
I have worked on album covers, websites, local music press publications, and been published in several national texts, as well as winning/placing in numerous juried competitions both locally and nationally. I would like to move my work into a more fine art digital area, but until my prints start selling on a regular basis, I will remain in the bussiness of illustrating other peoples ideas(not that I'm in it for the money, but I gotta eat)...
