this dandelions feels like I am standing in universe and look down to earth. As if the earth globe is the second choice, in your picture Anneke. sharp, composition is allright. I am seeking more the vision than perfect light.... /barbro

"This dandelions feels like I am standing in universe and look down to earth".
Wow Barbro, you felt that very well! This picture was taken in the mountains of Switzerland, at a height of more than 2000 meters. The dandelions are on the edge of a cliff. The whites in the background are of a river that is flowing through a canyon. The blacks and browns are rocks and part of a mountain side in the shade.

"As if the earth globe is the second choice in your picture".
That's probably because I was very depressed at that time. And also because I felt completely overwhelmed by my surroundings, nature's beauty often felt like too much to comprehend.

Thanks for your critique Barbro, I appreciate it a lot.

This shot has a very cool industrial feel to it. I think if it were mine I would crop it down from the top a little to get rid of that bright spot up there or perhaps just darken that area a little! Carole
