I've been looking over thisone for a bit now. Ilove the textures on the wood withthe pealing paint, accented by the water streaked texture on the glass. The obscured face with an emotion I can't quite put finger on(is it sadness, longing, indifference apathy?),really makes this piece
..........and it wouldn't be half as nice in color or black and white, this thing screams for sepia toning, which you've added to to it's full effect.
Thanks,
-J

Great image and very emotive, i really like the different texture on the glass that shows the eye on the right(our right)different to the rest of the glass, the only thing that niggles me is the slight slant of the window frame leaning inwards on the left but the frame on the right is vertically straight, if they were both straight or both crooked it would have more impact and would not have that lean catching the eye so much

Thank you very much Ian by your suggestion, and it seems to me very good. Very well expressed. Anyway, I have my doubt about another inclination of the frame.. the main point is deliberately in the eye . To that eye it falls all the weight of the emotion that is very strong .
Regards,marta

Ian,I do not know almost anything of English and I dont understand well your reply.. Sorry for that...Perhaps the frame is improvable to the benefit of the whole of the photo, that is what it interests to me. I am no happy with it, I am here for showing my works and mainly to learn to improve them..The eye is an important element in this case, nothing more.. Thanks again,M..

I love the idea of this and the toning, I wish that the whole area in front of the face were like the drippy right side though, although the way it is does give a feeling of mystery! Carole

Many thanks Carole. Glad for having put another work..My style is quite strange, I know this dear friend.. I do not observe the academic rules that are excellent.. I cant.. my main way to express me is my heart and my eyes..
hug, Marta
