from an eye candy regard of this drawing i find it verry nice and exciting or i wouldent have found time to comment.
my bone to pick is that the face is defined in rough lines :')
however this chaotic style is why i love it.. not becouse i think its artisticly flawless but becouse it shows what you are capable of,
you are so obviosly capable of compleat self expression and i look farward to your hand being applied to parfection
yours sincearly Duke Thrust

Hi, Rick,
I love the pen work here, the fevered quality to the lines; the pen helps create an atmosphere of great moodiness and emotional saturation. Really nice! --Terri

Very impressive work of art that really works mysteriously. Me very like the orange tones that also likes to use his pictures. Otherwise, it would still hang with them on the wall.

Very impressive work. I like the strong use of color and value and the lost and found edges. Very well done!

Thank you Charles. I keep reading those books you mentioned, even have a copy of Edgar Whitney, but I think it is mainly luck for me.

In my experience, the more you read, study and practice, the "luckier" you get. Keep up the good work!

What a strong art work, the forceful frantic lines, lighting & wondrful use of strong bold coloring. Have created such drama & a potent mood here. Bravo. Well done, Tave :)

Very expressive and dramatic piece...very much drama is created here. I think the colors really fit the mood of the piece for sure. Very well done.

Absolutely you best one to date, Rick! I just happened to stop in and glance briefly at this page and your thumb grabbed me immediately. With a few scratches, you have created form. With 2 colors you have created value. Combined together you have created drama and a great piece! Nice work!
Steve
