..two words "trademark infringement"
...now that that's out of the way, I think the idea is pretty creative, but the execution could be much better. The bottom gradient looks more rounded instead of appearing as if it's trailing off in the distance, and the pixels on the "Gulf" sign are a bit of a distraction. I love the way you've changed the sky gradient in each scene, but really, aren't you worried about legal reprecussions? -J

Welcome back to Artsig. I see it's been several years since you've stopped in and posted anything, so a quick update might be in order. There is significant importance placed on users posting critiques as well as work for critique. If someone is posting with the expectation of receiving critiques, they should be prepared to be writing critiques to others on the site. The expectations are that everyone will contribute three crits back to the community for each work they submit for critique. This enables everyone to receive their fair share of commentary on their work. I'm not concerned about what was done or not done years ago, it's about what's in the present now :-) So we're looking forward to reading your crits on the other members works. As an aside the prevailing attitude is that those who write crits will receive crits, so the sooner you get started, the quicker and more likely you'll get feedback on this recent work. Welcome back!
