Was this in your blue period Dave? It is indeed amazing how the past sometimes meets the present (or was it the not so distant past). It is certain that your muse has been inspiring you for a long time. Overal I like the tone of this work.There is something with her left hand, but I agree with Carol the whole appearance is a bit smallish to make a definitive statement, but I am always glad to see that people have many angles to their talentful output!

Pam;
This is a very awesome colored pencil composition of the woman's face behind what I perceive to be confetti floating around her head as though she is at a party enjoying herself with her beautiful blue eyes, her slight nose and purple lips, great job done.
Thank you for sharing,
Keep right on creating,
Cherie

Absolutely gorgeous full bloom yellow rose with the small buds in the front and behind, great dof, although the dark green foliage, that is a real slight leaf ,on the right hand side, IMO that could be cloned out, just a thought.
Thank you for sharing, Carole,

Oh I love your editing here, very enigmatic! My only nit with it is that I am not liking the bright blue line through the wings although I do like it in the other areas. Carole

I love how you have romanticized this old building. These older buildings have so much character and you've captured it well. I am a little distracted by the people on the sidewalk below but over all this is a great painting. Carole

So you did this earlier in life? Very cool. I think the face needs some more work though...it's hard to see here but I think more detail in the mouth area is needed! Very cool to see you worked in paint! Carole

It's been really cool to watch what you've been doing with editing. I really love just the little bit of color left on the lips. The tear is great and I can't decide whether the white spot on the sunglasses adds life or not. Carole

This has a good composition Cherie. I think it could use some more PS though. Some more saturation and contrast for sure and the mountains could use some sharpening! Other wise it seems like a good candidate for a postcard. Carole

Excellent job done on this filtered/photographic composition, Dena;
Very well done lighting and contrast, and yes he fits the title of being mindful, as the others said, this tells a story just from looking at the man with his surroundings, great dof, my only nit and not to take away from your 3TU, is that I wished the top part of this picture wasn't cropped so tightly, otherwise great job done.
Thank you for sharing,
Keep right on experimenting...

Merv;
This is a very well done filtered/photographic composition of the woman who appears to be at a funeral with that one teardrop coming down her face past her dark sunglasses and sad trembling looking lips in color, although just a thought, I would have removed the spot on the sunglasses, right hand side and that piece of hair, maybe could have been a few strands instead, just my opinion.

Dave mi amigo;
Interesting aKCrylic of your favorite model in blue, this looks like she is floating in a pool in a sense with her arms extended out, interesting brush marks in white pointing downard towards her medicine for you always in an eternity fashion, the markings on her side show the light glistening off of her, the hairdo give this away of being from the 60's, great job done IMO.
Thank you for sharing,
Cherie

I've come back to this shot about four times Carole and have a different reaction every time. It's simplicity is it's best attribute. It's a limb with new life, after a winters hibernation, to me. Great composition, lighting and framing. Thanks for sharing, my friend. dave

Jeremy-If I hadn't read your comment I would have thought that this was a snow scene. I like the composition. My eye is lead down to the road and those structures in the distance.
