Good composition, Rina. I like the way the water bends the light where the branchs pass behind. There seems to be letters on the globe. They really draw my attention away from the total image. It's still 3 tu though.

Good eye, nice capture. At first glance I thought it was a sphere modeled in a 3d program with the specular turned way up. I prefer the factthatreality was involved.....-J

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I shouldn't have had that last drink, what was in it? I don't feel so well, seeing double, dizzy.......A very nice piece indeed. Two expressions in one, it does make me a bit nauseous seeing it though, it's very hard to look at.-J

Hi,Dave, I like the overall effect you have created in this underwater shot. The diffused effect is OK with me and gives it a unique feel, fish or no fish ! only the top left side blank somehow jars on my eye,and does not add anything to the picture and could be cloned out .Otherwise it deserves a 3T rating,Regards.Om.

Rina,What a giant leap from your first two presentations! This is marvelous! The green and the greys work so wonderfully together. The variety of greys where the glasses are placed are super. The reflections are perfect. The choice of vertical lines in thickness and color are outstanding.I am very jealous of your image. It is so well done.Tom

Tina,Like the overall design and idea with the segmented parts making an attractive deign. The center part design is also a joy to preceive.I think the undefined colors takes the overall pattern of the design less in engaging. The patterns are very interesting but not strong as the form itself especially the light pink and blue areas.Tom

Cherie,Looking at the thumbnail,it did not seem to have your usual spark. But looking at the larger image i totally agree with Dave.It bring back memories of my parents taking to the City of Paris store at Christmas and looking up to the top of the tree and seeing the beautiful rotundra above the tree. The colors did not seem to work either in the smaller version. In the larger one the usual use complementary does whch generally cause an op art design, does not because your...

Merv,I think Cherie"s comment a bout the road is a great critique.Less road adds much more tension to your image and we focus more on the lovely trees and sky.The tops of the trees are magical.Tom

Rick,I think the iris of the most difficult and beautiful flower to photograph.Really like the dark violets at the bottom and then the light blues at the top.The large circle on the right and the smaller one on the left that overlap each other really makes a strong composition especially because of the yellow gold area in the big circle.Tom

Dave, I am not sure if the ladder is going nowhere... certainly nobody is going on that ladder anywhere soon.I like how you captured this, it does almost look like a giant acquarium (which in a way it is, I guess). I think it could be sharper (realising that the glass must be pretty tick). I do think that I do see some fish in that hole on top... and having some swim by closer would have given this an extra dimension.

Rina, this is most fascinating, in that you combine a photographic and graphic element. I like how you balanced the green and white with cubistic elements. The only element that is a bit of an issue is the halo effect around the branches (almost selective sharpening?). Hope it is not my monitor.

Eric, I really love the realism you have achieved here with a few well places strokes. This work has a nice feeling of spontinaity about it, and it seems to capture the essence of subject matter. Very nice technique - Rick

Very good representation of a Wolf Spider Ian. The way it is done, gives it somewhat of a painterly quality the is refreshing in that most photos of this type are macro studies with every possible detail showing. I live in North Carolina, and we have an abundance of these creatures, I have never known one to bite anybody for the 34 years I have lived here, but the Mothers look so much more awesome when they are loaded up with all thier babies on their back. - Rick

Hi Merv - IMHO this is an absolutely wonderful image. I love the stark contrast of all the objects and the sharp detail, as for me, it emotes the clarity and crispness of a clear and starry winter night scene. The stars in the sky are perfect and really make this image come alive - Very nice - Rick

Charles, I really love everything about this work, the layout, the colors, the subject matter. It looks very authentic, and has just the right amount of detail. I would definitely find a place to hang this one - thanks for your submission - Rick
