A nice piece of 21st Century Expressionism. It might look good next to Edvard Munch's Scream. Powerful emotional work.

I like this one. I'm a fan of old, aged, fractured anything but especially wood.
In this work you've put the focal point off center which is of course what most modern day Western Artists would do. I would like to suggest that it might be interesting to try centering this on the center of the log making this into a Mandela or even a sort of portrait.

this is very nice work. the photo manipulation into a very sharp b/w line work is very good. the items all together give a feel of something ominious, a gloomy sunday in the making. it almost has an edward gorey feel to it - specially with the black bird. i like the duality of it.(..hard to tell on my monitor but it seems like it might not be exactly split 50/50 ?) love the hats - gives me that drugstore cowboy feel. watch out for them tv babies. keep creating!

I think the photo without the glow effect would be far better...It is a great photo on it's own

very very nice! i love the rich color and glow of the light in this shot - it has a real magic and mystery to it - like a firey doorway opening to another world! excellent timing and use of light!

Very nice Expressionistic work. Really nicely communicated sense of place.
The languid, luxurious figure is wonderfully painted. This is a really fine painting with a real sense of Art tradition behind it.

I like this best of the three in the series. I particularly find the three noses and (presumably) three layers you drew it in interesting. Personally, I'd play down the "horror" and "deranged" aspect in your titles and descriptions. Perhaps most of us feel like this some of the time, and maybe your image would say a bit more without these labels. The hard white edges bottom, bottom left and bottom right are off-putting. Like you have poured someone's head in a...

I see a seashore cliff, with the breakers below and grass above the cliff top left. The style has lots of possibilities, especially when based on something you see in front of you. I am not sure I like the very flat brush strokes on the left. Those in the "sea" bottom right are much more lively. Most of all, you need to take care that this style of painting with washes doesn't get very muddy as it can easily do and IMHO does in middle right. You may want to work...

I like the textures. Your handwriting has a good quality that adds to it nicely. Overall it's an interesting two-dimensional abstract or design, which doesn't quite do enough for me for another star. I wonder, what would happen if you used wine stains too? Might be fun. Or experiment with other paper, drawing on tablecloths, whatever. (But I'm not sure I see anything about human relationships here....)

I really like the paint quality and textures here. My only criticism is that it is a bit flat - 2 dimensional. Maybe that is the intention, but a mountain stream running through rocks would show plenty of interesting 3d and variation and I'd be interested how you might try to capture that in this style.

I like this. Colours are great, blown highlights in the flesh colours and dark water like with a film bleach-bypass technique. And just enough perspective to draw the eye. I'm never quite sure what to say about posed images that might or might not be trying to "say" something - so I concentrate on the image. If there's a message I didn't get it (nor the title), but it doesn't matter too much.

Very good. I think your image supports your 'story' well. The slight clockwise rotation seems to support rather than distract from the central theme. I like the hard blacks which are not provided by high contrast ie there are some nice grey tones throughout the shot.
